In FEA simulation, we aim to calculate and evaluate stress & strain, to ensure that the parts will not fail under the designed force levels. The challenge is to predict the behaviour of parts even before the physical parts exist, and to ensure their robustness.

Key Activities
- Develop FE models for structural analysis, mainly of glass fiber reinforced plastic components with consideration of fiber orientation and weldline
- Conduct FE analysis using ABAQUS
- Assess stiffness and strength of metallic and plastic components
- Collaborate closely with internal teams and provide expert advice for design improvement
- Evaluate simulation results and create simulation reports for documentation and review

- continuously improve FE models
Desired Profile
- University degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering or related field
- Solid knowledge of mechanics (statics and dynamics)
- Several years of professional experience in the field of FEA
- In-depth experience and expertise in ABAQUS (Standard/Explicit)
- Practical experience with Hyperworks (Hypermesh, Hyperview, etc) or similar tools
- Ability to deliver quality work on a timely basis
- Strong communicator both written and verbal in English and native language
- Team player with an open minded attitude
- Self-efficient and organized in prioritizing tasks and projects
